Sally obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) from McMaster University, where she majored in Sociology and Psychology. With the goal of becoming a professor, she went on to obtain a Master of Arts degree (M.A.) in Sociology from the University of Guelph, where her reasearch centred around the family unit, specifically the parent-child relationship. Upon completing her Master’s, Sally decided to pursue a career in law. She went on to work at a reputable Bay Street law firm in the Accounting department before attending law school.

Sally obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law. In law school, she volunteered as a Caseworker at Community Legal Aid and worked as a Summer Law Student at Legal Assistance of Windsor. These roles allowed her to passionately advocate for underprivileged clients in various administrative tribunals.
