Vershawn Ashanti Young, who goes by dr. vay (or just plain Vay) is an experienced in-person and online family mediator. He holds the prestigious Cert.FRM credential from Family Mediation Canada (FMC) and is an accredited Child Protection Mediator (CPMed) for the Ontario Ministry. Vay is also trained as a Family Group Conference Coordinator. Vay helps all types of families resove their family law cases both across the border in the USA and in Canada. He understands immigrant issues.

Vay has mediated hundreds of family court cases and has helped families and parents resolve their custody/access and family matters in an business-like, if not friendly manner.

Vay is the founder and operator of Focused Family Mediation. He offers comprehensive family mediation exclusively online. By request, Vay can conduct in-person mediation in the Ontario regions of Kitchener/Waterloo, GTA/Toronto, Hamilton, St. Catherines, and Niagara
