Amanda received her certification in Family Mediation through York University. She is an Accredited Family Mediator with the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM). She is certified in Online Dispute Resolution and has a background in education with a Bachelor of Education Degree from The University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT/Ontario Tech), along with a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University. Amanda is also a member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).

Amanda began her teaching career in 2010 teaching Kindergarten and working with families from a variety of backgrounds. She then went on to teach grades 6-8. In addition, she has experience working with toddlers as well as with high school students. After going through the divorce process herself, she decided to become a Family Mediator with the hope that she may help others navigate this time of transition in their lives.
