I am a family lawyer who cares deeply about people.
My practice is client-centered and child-focused. I understand the emotional and financial costs of litigation, and use my skills in negotiation, mediation, and collaborative practice to resolve most of my cases outside of court. I am also a competent litigator and have handled complex cases such as a multi-jurisdictional divorce involving $20M of assets worldwide and other high conflict parenting disputes.
Before becoming a lawyer in Canada, I endured a 4-year battle with cancer and then overcame various challenges while immigrating from Hong Kong. These experiences grew me as a professional, and I now bring valuable experience in handling adversity and walking with people through tough times.
I am a volunteer lawyer for the Chinese Christian Mission of Canada and Living Water Counselling Center. I am also a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario.
